passion

I’m experienced at writing across all mediums and channels, from advertising and marketing comms to online and PR.

But what I love doing most and what gets me out of bed in the morning is creating content. I love researching topics or interviewing people and crafting stories, whether that’s for use online, newsletters, editorials, etc. To really get to know the person/organisation I’m writing for and create engaging, meaningful and purposeful content.

Equally, I love writing for people who value the work I’m doing. Who don’t see it as a transaction. They see it as a relationship; one based on mutual respect and integrity. That’s how you’ll get the best out of me.

Out of anyone in fact.

FOCUS

OK, so over 25 years I’ve pretty much written across every medium and subject you can think of (and some I don’t really want to remember).

But over the last ten years in particular I became very passionate about writing for organisations and people who really wanted to make a difference. Think Cancer Council, La Trobe University, Department of Human Services, Bank Australia. You get the picture.

I want my writing to mean something. To create content that moves people, tells a story with depth and substance, that has a real purpose.
